How we handle your data
Browser-first architecture
The current Reliability Coach app runs entirely in your browser. Your asset registry, inspection records, and generated documents live in your browser's local storage on your device. Nothing you enter in the app is transmitted to our servers. When you download a report or backup, the file is generated client-side and saved directly to your computer.
What we collect on the marketing site
Our marketing pages use standard HTTPS and request logs that capture anonymized access data (timestamp, page, approximate region, user agent) for operational purposes. We do not run third-party advertising trackers or behavioral profiling.
Email you send us
When you use one of our reservation or contact links, your email client creates a message to hello@reliability.coach. That email lives in our inbox and is used only to respond to you and to operate the founder-pricing waitlist. We do not sell or share it.
Roadmap — cloud sync
When we launch paid plans with cloud sync, they will include encryption in transit (TLS 1.3), encryption at rest (AES-256), US-based infrastructure, role-based access, and a SOC 2 Type II process. SOC 2 Type II is in progress. We do not sell customer asset data and we do not use it to train shared AI models.
Reporting a security issue
If you believe you've found a vulnerability, please email security@reliability.coach. We'll acknowledge within two business days.
